About Us
About us and the Studio:
Rawcus Studios was built in 2019, and is based near Exeter. Since then we have been involved in projects from composition, arranging, recording, producing, mixing, mastering and video editing.
The Aim
To provide an affordable creative space for musicians to explore, develop and produce their best work. The rural location providing a relaxed creative environment.
The Process
Whether you are looking to record acoustic guitar/vocals or a multitracked orchestral James Bond theme we take the sound you are looking for very seriously. Once we’ve established your sound, we prepare and plan prior to your studio time to make sure everything every sounds great for the mixing stage.
The studio is built inside a converted shipping container and comprises of a control room for mixing/monitoring and a live room for recording. Generally, one instrument is recorded at a time, but depending on the pairing multiple instruments can be tracked at once.
